Your Coach

Hi, I’m Amar

I spent six years working as a doctor, including two in New Zealand.

Working with patients taught me that health is rarely just about knowing what’s good for you. Our routines, relationships, work and environment all influence the choices we make and how we feel.

I later moved into medical education, where I developed a particular interest in lifestyle medicine.

As a lecturer, I taught medical students about the evidence behind nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and social connection. I became particularly interested in how these foundations can support both our own health and the health of the people we care for.

I went on to train further in lifestyle medicine, mindfulness and health coaching.

Coaching brought these areas together for me: the science of health, the psychology of behaviour change, and the human side of helping someone make meaningful, lasting changes.

I’ve always enjoyed being outdoors, and time in nature gives me space to slow down, think clearly and reconnect with myself.

It felt natural to bring this experience into my work too- helping people make healthier changes that fit their lives and last, while creating space for reflection, movement and connection with nature where it feels helpful.
