My coaching approach brings together lifestyle medicine, behaviour change science, mindfulness and nature.
Each brings a different perspective to my coaching, helping us understand what supports your health and what can help you make lasting change.
My Approach
Lifestyle Medicine
What supports your health
The six pillars of lifestyle medicine underpin my coaching approach:
Nutrition · Physical Movement · Sleep · Stress · Social connection · Minimising Harmful Substances
I use these pillars as a framework to understand the different factors that can influence your health and wellbeing.
We explore where you are now, what matters to you and what you would like to change, then identify realistic actions to try between sessions.
What makes change possible
Behaviour change science helps me understand what influences the way you act- including motivation, confidence, habits, your environment and everyday demands.
In subsequent sessions, we reflect on what happened, what you learned, and what helped or got in the way.
I help you find practical ways to adapt your approach and make new behaviours more achievable and sustainable.
This ongoing cycle of action, reflection and adaptation, helps build changes that can last beyond coaching.
Behaviour Change Science
Mindfulness
Creating awareness and choice
Mindfulness helps you become more aware of how you think, feel and respond, including patterns that can influence your health behaviours.
My coaching helps develop this awareness, creating a pause between what happens and how you respond.
This can give you greater choice in how you act and help you make decisions that are aligned in supporting your health.
Creating space for reflection and perspective
I use outdoor coaching deliberately because being outside can create space to pause, reflect and see things from a different perspective.
It can also support mood, reduce stress and make conversation feel more natural.
Nature
Sessions can take place outdoors, online or through a combination, depending on what works best for you.
Outdoor sessions might involve walking or sitting in a green space.
You can also bring a little nature into an online session- perhaps sitting by a window or stepping into your garden.
Online sessions offer the same personalised coaching from wherever you are.

Start with a conversation
The first step is a free discovery call. We’ll talk about what you’d like to change, answer any questions you have, and see whether coaching is the right fit for you.
